From a very young age, we have always been told to hurry up from the aspect of life. As we don’t have much time, everything has to be done as soon as possible. While doing so, we often treat life as a race.

We are told that, by the completion of high school, we must decide what we want to be in our life. By the age of max to max 25, we have to complete our studies and get a nice job with a good salary. By 35, we have to be at the peak of success and must be living a good life.

The Pressure Of Being On Time

If you have not done the above things at the desired time, then our society considers you as a failure. If by chance, an 18-year-old haven’t decided what they want to do in their life, they are mocked by others. What astonish me is that, people are forced to decide their life and dreams because their acquaintances have already had. It’s sad that, because of this, we are coerced to compare our progress with others. While doing this we tends to forget that each of us are different and unique.

It’s Okay To Take Time

Just like we are born different and unique, we have different time zone. It’s okay, if you still haven’t decided your dreams. It’s okay if you have failed to climb up at the peak of success in the required time. It is also okay to not have a dream. Remember, just because others have already reached their destination, doesn’t mean that you are not already a part of your own journey. You might get to see more beautiful sceneries while traveling down the road to success at a slower pace.

The world can be cruel, so do yourself a favour by believing in yourself and in your own time zone. You are not ahead, you are not behind, you are just on time.
