Father is always the person whom we look up to in any problem. 'Dad', this one word which we have feared at one or the other time in our life. But he is our first role model, isn't he? For girls, he is our superhero, we want our husbands, boyfriends or life partners like him. We search for his qualities in them, don't we? We search for safety, love, and care he provided to us, in them. He is the person for whom we feared the most but also at the same time we had loved the most.
Dad acts hard on us, teaches us discipline and is present with us at every moment in our life. He's there to support us, to cheer us if we fail, to applaud us if we succeed. If we succeed he will be the happiest person, he will boast to everybody about our achievement in our absence, but in our presence, he will not show that happiness which he actually felt. He will encourage us to do better every time.
I and my dad share the most valuable bond in my life. We do fight sometimes for tv remote or such silly things. But he has always encouraged me to do what I want. He has given me every single thing I have ever wanted, even if he knew it was wrong he gave me that out of love and affection. I am very lucky that I have a father like him, everyone is not so lucky some lose their father, some fathers leave them. But my father stood with me in my bad times, he hid his disappointment in me, tried to cheer me up, taught me life lessons, taught me to never give up even if the tide was against me. He taught me that it doesn't matter if you lose, but I should always learn something from my failures, there's always a new way open for me.
Fathers have the responsibility of many people on their shoulders, be it work or family, or friends and social life. But he always makes sure that we get enough attention. But he also needs support, he is like a coconut, tough outside but soft inside. He only wishes for our growth and improvement. Don't disrespect him by answering him back or acting rudely with him or making daddy jokes, he is working for you. Love him because he's the person who will love you when everybody refuses to love you. You are lucky to have your father, rejoice that.
I may not say it or show it to you dad, but I love you from all my heart.
