2.He is the second son of David Dhawan and Karuna Dhawan, after Rahul Dhawan (his elder sibling). He is very attached to his brother.

3.His father and brother both are directors.

4.His height and weight is 5’9” and 78 kg.

5.He likes to dance and eat chicken but he does not like alcohol.

His school and college days

He was a naughty child during his childhood. It was a difficult task to control him, he gave tough time to his parents.(according to his mother)He was naughty but was a good in studies. He secured 82% in 10^th standard. When he was in 8^th standard, Shraddha Kapoor proposed him but he rejected it and ran.

He completed his HSC education from the H.R ollege of Commerce and economics. He has a degree in Business Management from the Nottingham Trent University, UK. During his graduation he used to distribute leaflets for a night club.He used to have long hairs during his college days.

He and Arjun Kapoor used to go to same acting school (Barry Jhon’s Acting school) and they became good friends.

Career

He started his Bollywood career as an assistant director in My Name Is Khan.

He got his break in year 2012, when Karan Johor launched him in his film Student of the Year. His dad did not want to launch him through his movie. After SOTY he did many movies like MAIN TERA HERO, HUMPTY SHARMA KI DULHANIA, BADLAPUR, ABCD-2, DILWALE, DISHOOM,BADRINATH KI DULHANIA, JUDWAA 2, OCTOBER,SUI DHAGA AND KALANK.

Kalank has been the first commercial failure of his career. But he is all set to come with a bang on the big screen with his new dance movie Street Dancer in 2020.

He has received many awards for his work and is doing great. Also rumours are that, he is going to tie knot with his childhood friend Natasha Dalal by the end of this year.
