  जब तुमने उन लोगों से और ख़ुदा के सिवा जिन माबूदों की ये लोग परसतिश करते हैं उनसे किनारा कशी करली तो चलो ग़ार में जा बैठो और तुम्हारा परवरदिगार अपनी रहमत तुम पर वसीह कर देगा और तुम्हारा काम में तुम्हारे लिए आसानी के सामान मुहय्या करेगा

• Hast thou not seen how that God has subjected to you all that is in the earth and the ships to run upon the sea at His commandment, and He holds back heaven lest it should fall upon the earth, save by His leave ? Surely God is All - gentle to men, All - compassionate.
  क्या तुमने देखा नहीं कि धरती में जो कुछ भी है उसे अल्लाह ने तुम्हारे लिए वशीभूत कर रखा है और नौका को भी कि उसके आदेश से दरिया में चलती है, और उसने आकाश को धरती पर गिरने से रोक रखा है । उसकी अनुज्ञा हो तो बात दूसरी है । निस्संदेह अल्लाह लोगों के हक़ में बड़ा करुणाशील, दयावान है

• Or that He will not seize them while in dread ? Your Lord is gentle and Merciful.
  या वह अज़ाब से डरते हो तो धर पकड़ करे इसमें तो शक नहीं कि तुम्हारा परवरदिगार बड़ा शफीक़ रहम वाला है

  और जो लोग अपने माल अल्लाह की प्रसन्नता के संसाधनों की तलब में और अपने दिलों को जमाव प्रदान करने के कारण ख़र्च करते है उनकी हालत उस बाग़़ की तरह है जो किसी अच्छी और उर्वर भूमि पर हो । उस पर घोर वर्षा हुई तो उसमें दुगुने फल आए । फिर यदि घोर वर्षा उस पर नहीं हुई, तो फुहार ही पर्याप्त होगी । तुम जो कुछ भी करते हो अल्लाह उसे देख रहा है

  भय को अपने ऊपर हावी मत होने दो । ” कीमियागर ने बड़ी धीमी पर पुख्ता आवाज में कहा,

So pardon them, and pray for their forgiveness, and take counsel from them in matters of importance.   तो अल्लाह की ओर से ही बड़ी दयालुता है जिसके कारण तुम उनके लिए नर्म रहे हो, यदि कहीं तुम स्वभाव के क्रूर और कठोर हृदय होते तो ये सब तुम्हारे पास से छँट जाते । अतः उन्हें क्षमा कर दो और उनके लिए क्षमा की प्रार्थना करो । और मामलों में उनसे परामर्श कर लिया करो । फिर जब तुम्हारे संकल्प किसी सम्मति पर सुदृढ़ हो जाएँ तो अल्लाह पर भरोसा करो । निस्संदेह अल्लाह को वे लोग प्रिय है जो उसपर भरोसा करते है
