Indian Army!

The Indian Army is the largest and main component of Indian Armed forces. Indian army was founded on 1 April 1895, 124 years ago. The size of Indian Army is 1,237,117 active personnel, 960000 reserve personnel and 181 manned aircraft. The President of India is the Supreme Commander of Indian Army Forces. Two officers have been conferred with rank of Five star which is a ceremonial position for the great honour. The units of Indian Army have participated in many battles and campaigns across the world, earning a large number of battles across the world and even won large number of battles before and after independance. The army has embarked on an Futuristic Infanty Soldier As a System, and is also upgrading and aquiring new assests for its armoured and aviation branches.

Indian army is a main part of Indian Armed Forces. Its headquarters is in New Delhi. The one and only motto of Indian Army is Service Before Self. The colours of Indian army are Gold, red and black.
