Philosophy says, you think things, you are wrong and thus goes the circle of overthinking!

The trouble with the human mind is that it is unable to comprehend what it is thinking. We think everything out their is unique and special and for some reason has to be understood, so we apply our complex thinking only to enter in a multitude of mind puzzles. We are eventually killing our mind because of over thinking. This over thinking is topped with thinking about everything.

You see, the human mind is like a death trap, if you give in to your mind, it eats up your thought process. It feeds on your imagination and thinking and makes it destructive. The simplest solution is making the mind calm. Like Shri Krishna preached Lord Arjuna how necessary it is to control our mind and not make it a victim of over thinking. The Mahabharata focused on crucial it was keep mind focused and not think about unnecessary things. The mantra of success simply signifies that one must not deter their focus and attention on anything other than the goal. At this point comes the question of what exactly is overthinking and how it could be harmful?

The time that should have been spent doing something fruitful is usually spent in overthinking. A person of such sort tends to nullify every opportunity in their life. Over indulging in a thought is the utmost reason that spoils the good things of a life. The varied cons of overthinking ranges from difficulty in making decisions in day to day life problems to ignoring self intuition. An overthinker usually represents low confidence because of the inability to come to a decision and be strong enough to express themselves.

We need to realise that overthinking is not just a trait in some people but most people tend to unnecessarily put attention to the vain things in life. Thus it becomes important to understand why overthinking can kill a bird. The mass appeal of social media has begeted insecurity and lack of confidence in a lot of people. Factors as such are the major constituents of increase in overthinking. An overthinker avoids situations of decision making and thus tends to shut themselves up. Overthinking is basically being worried about a problem that does not even exist. Overthinking is also very much like hoarding information and facts because we believe that every information out there is important. The more the mind is free and worriless, the better it is at taking decisions. A bright disposition is a result of a peaceful mind. An overthinker can never concentrate on any task assigned to them. Overthinking can also lead to depression. This is where it becomes extremely necessary to understand the cons of overthinking in daily life. This in turn leads to lack of sleep and lack of emotional attachment with friends and family. Overthinkers often give in to anxiety and become a victim of stress.

We need to realise that our thought process is precious and not everything is worth a thought. Every task can be completed only if a person puts their utmost attention at the job. Overthinking is nothing but a spam section of the mail. It unnecessarily crowds your mind like spam crowds your inbox. This is where we need to realise that such thoughts must be dumped instead of putting more attention on it.
