Orange Is The New White

Orange is considered to be a very Holy color in India; it is the color of a Hindu priest or saint’s attire thus representing religion and beliefs in this context. White on the Other hand signifies a ray of hope; it is color of purity and is also intended to be the color of angelic being or “Farishtay” according to the Hindu Scriptures, It also represents as the color of salvation.

This topic can be seen in 2 perspectives, the first perspective which is Religious moments are hope towards purity and salvation and the second one is Religion is way to hope, salvation and purity. The first perspective is created by the environment for us. Whether it is political, financial, good or even bad agendas, religion always steps in to take the reign and drive the car for us. Religious moments like changing names of cities from Mughal to Hindu names, preaching about where a temple should be made, these are the kind of moments that actually create a divide among humanity on the basis of caste and creed. Religious moment is not meant for the purpose to please god and attain purity and salvation, they are to fulfill selfish motives of politicians to divide and conquer. And at the end we foolish people in the spark of the moments do things that cause lot of damage like causing riots or creating anti community beliefs. I mean if your only motivation to do or abstain from doing something is the expectation of a divine reward, then you should introspect on what kind of person you are.

The second perspective is a more evolved perspective, It’s MY perspective towards the topic which is Religion is way to hope, salvation and purity. There is a very famous saying known as “live and let live”, I twisted that saying into “pray and let pray”. Who said that all religions cannot coexist without conflicts? God is in ones heart and soul , instead of pleasing him by making more and more temples and occupying space , you could simply please him by helping others irrespective of their name cast, creed and the religion that they follow and respect one another. Well my belief might be of a model society that people might contradict with facts and figures but hey!! Who thought that we would even be at the end game 70 years back?
