Let Your Child Be Free

This era is an era of competition. Everyone wants to be successful and everybody tries their best . And more than Children, parents are hyper about making them successful. But in this race of success,we forget one thing that success has no definition. For one ,it's something else and for the other it's something totally different. This is how it happens. To be doctor or an engineer isn't success. Even our ancestors used to say ,no work is big or small but the way we do it decides this thing. But nowadays, most of parents think that sending their children to the best institutes ,opting medical sciences or engineering would make them successful . We have this mindset . For this reason ,since childhood, we put this thing in their brains that they have to become an engineer, doctor or teacher . Because these are respectable professions in our eyes. And generally for this reason ,we tend to ignore what our children are interested in. If we come to know that a child is interested in writing,acting or painting ,we don't show much interest because these professions aren't that good ( as we think) . But what's the reason behind this? Actually we prefer those jobs which provide security and assurity that our future will be secure. Being a painter or actor doesn't guarantee work for lifetime and people hence generally prefer it as a hobby.

Although since time is changing, more career options are being introduced for the children but still parents are stick to those limited professions as maybe somewhere wishing security for their children ,they are ignoring their interests. We need to understand that not everyone is born to be a doctor or a teacher ,some need to be actors,painters ,dancers or writers. Every profession is important and we need every profession in our society no matter what.

People need to understand that maybe your child can do better in some other field. Don't get stressed if he isn't doing something good in the field you chose for him, it's his life ,let him be free. Let him fall ,only then he will learn to rise . You can keep on holding his hand and teach him walking for the whole life, you can't keep on protecting him everytime. Just give him some time,let him do whatever he wishes to,even though you don't agree to it, just support him. Your support is what he needs the most. And then you'll see ,some day he will prove to you that he isn't worthless and he can do something extraordinary in life too. One day he will sure make you proud.
