Emotion makes us human, denying them makes us beast.

An intense emotion is a compelling enthusiasm or desire for something. A word which I consider to be common to all of us and yet quite rare. Perhaps some of us have been fortunate and determined enough to actually experience the thriving experience that this emotion can provide us with. This somehow reminds me of a concept i got to know about Robin Sharma’s best seller, “Who will cry when you die?” As fascinating as the title of a book i had to give it a quick read. The very first chapter mesmerised me when the lines read “Find your calling. I believe we all have special talents that are just waiting to be engaged in a worth pursuit.” Something that ignites bizarre excitement in you, makes you more curious than you have ever been before in your entire lifetime. Something that catches your attention, something that you talk about with such enthusiasm that the entire room turns to see the source of this shine. Something that you’re passionate about.

And if you have that ‘something’ in you now, nothing can ever be better than that. It can anything anywhere academics, sports, art, reading, writing, fitness, or something else simple as punctuality. Anything at all. Remember that one time when 40-50 page project was due the next day and all you had was one day to get on track with your life again. Cutting off from all the noisy distractions, drowing in a huge cup of coffee and just getting it over somehow. That would give you a vague idea of being passionate about, getting something done.

Moving mountains is a pretty cliche term, though its the closest. I can reach to express what immovable willpower can achieve. All we have to do is look for something that truly overwhelms us, that we love doing and progressing in it. Because if in next 20 years you live a life that frustrates you, with a job that makes you want break from all the burden and stress, being the owner of accomplishments that are ‘just not enough’ you will not be justifying your life.

Instead, go look for that something and let your passion explore the homogeneous world of opportunities that ‘something’ has to offer. Let it bloom, let i grow. Live a life you would never want a break from. Because anything that gets your heart racing, makes your biggest fears seem small enough to conquer is worth doing, isnt it?

If you cant get that ‘something’ you’ll all be left with regrets and frustration which will eat you from inside sooner or later. Before its too late go get it, and live a life which you dreamt of.
