Surgical Strike 2.0 : Birth To A New India

14th April of this year, at the time of dusk some Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists attacked a convoy of 2500 CRPF jawans in Pulwama district in kashmir with atleast 350 Kg's of explosives and also some IDE's(Improvised explosive device), which led to the loss of 46 brave Javans of our motherland. Whole country greived at their martyrdom, while the anger inside our Defense forces grew to such heights, that demanded an answer to be given to such devastation.

These 12 days has been the most darkest hours in Indian History, as it was one of the biggest attacks launched on us costing so many precious son's, but during this hard time I saw a new India rising up. India that was standing together as one, India that was standing with the families of the martyrs, India that knew that this loss had no substitution, but it will be and shall be avenged. While during this time the social media was flooded with such memes that showed their pseudo patriotism and insensitivity, while there were people like Virendra Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir who gave us a true meaning of patriotism. Many social media posts with hashtags like "Terrorism has a religion", "Swipe out Pakistan" and " we want war" hinted towards the things, the society needs to pay attention on !!

Among all these anger and pressure from across the country, with the first rays of the rising sun our Indian Airforce performed a heroic feist that gave birth to a new Hindustan we all dream of. On the 13th day after the Pulwama attack, at 0330 hours when most of us were asleep, 12 Mirage 2000 aircrafts took off from Gwalior, carrying more than 1000 kg's of bombs and attacked and obliterated the Alpha control centres of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Balakot,a town in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. This precise attack of our defence forces presented a justified image of our country that we dont stand against a whole country, but we do stand against terrorism.

A new India has arised, who has stood as one and will fight as one !!
