YOUR FOOD! YOUR RIGHT!
Food is a necessity. It is essential for an individual to eat in order to survive. Most importantly , in a healthy way.

The most important thing is to know what they are eating. Few questions always pop up when one consumes something - whether it is hygienic and healthy, whether it has a valid expiry date ,and whether it is fresh or not.
The quality of food and the place from where you buy or get the food, matters. It is only then , that the above asked questions are answered. It is only then , that the doubts within you are cleared.

Also , there are times when we don't get what we want , how we want. Don't thinkmuch , I'm talking about food, not about anything else. It is obvious that we would always wish forgood and edible food.

Unfortunately , we don't get that at times. It is our right to ask or point out a particular problem because it is _our_ food. Every citizen has the right to speak regarding the food they eat. We pay our hard earned money on food. It doesn't comeeasily.

Questioning for what you eat , shows how active you are as a citizen of the country. We have various sources through which we can raise our voices. One of the main sources being , Social media.

We often blame social media for various reasons. But we forget how powerful it is.

Social media is often termed as the "Fifth estate of democracy". Our issues can be addressed , if and when we use the given resources in an appropriate way.

One such incident was when an individual in Hyderabad , found fungus in the form of tiny particles in a cake which is manufactured by"SUNFEAST".

When the individual had addressed the issue by taking a picture of the cake and tweeting it on " _Twitter_ " using appropriate hashtags and tagging "SUNFEAST" , the company replied to the tweet and addressed the issue.

Here's a picture of the cake.

As you can see , the black spots denote fungus. Now have a look on what the individual had tweeted regarding the issue.

This way , social media has been the source through which the individual did get justice and assurance that it would never happen , which he needed the most.

One last message for all the readers , "Please check thoroughly of what you eat. Your food is your right. Make sure you are eating healthy and staying healthy".
