Cinema has always been a part of our life. Sooner or later everyone has made cinema , a part of their day to day routine. May it be watching a movie occasionally or twice a week.

Right from watching a much anticipated movie to watching a movie which we are not interested in , cinema has become a part and parcel of life.

While talking about cinema , one such genre that we all like or prefer watching is a BIOPIC. A Biopic is a story of an individual or a journey of an individual , a known and a famous one. His/Her life is summed up in 3 hours. Well, that's a tough thing - to be able to show the entire journey within 3 hours.

Now , with responsibility comes controversy. Any personality on whom the Biopic is shot , has some interesting story that the audience would like to know and would be highly interested in. Presenting it in a cinematic way, where in the audience would like it and also where the truth is not changed, is very important. Biopics these days have catered to this point in a fabulous manner. Right from "M.S Dhoni - The Untold story" , "Azhar" , "Dangal" , "Sanju" and "Soorma" ,which have made a great impact on the audience and left their mark; to the upcoming biopics such as , "Thackrey" , "The Accidental Prime Minister" , "PM Narendra Modi", and "'83" ( Based on the 1983 Cricket World cup triumph) the standards will still be the same.

This is the age of Biopics. The audiences have shown more interested in Biopics than in other genres.

When the Biopic is made on a known personality , the audiences tend to know more about their life. The world of Biopics has taken over cinema and has taken it to a whole new level.

Directors have done their job in a beautiful way showing the real life stories of the individual equally beautiful in front of the camera giving each incident it's importance.

Controversies are always a part of their life. Showing it in an appropriate way shows , how well the director is able to potray the real life character through reels.

Talking about the controversies , the up coming Biopics have a lot of controversies involved with them. May it be the Congress Party objecting few scenes from The Accidental Prime Minister or other political parties having an objection with few scenes which show the discussion regarding The Ram Mandir in Thackrey.

Choosing the right and suitable cast for the respective Biopic is important. A biopic is something portraying the reality through reels in the same way as it is in real. Manupilating it is something different and unapplicable when compared to giving it a cinematic touch. It depends on the Director on how he shows the characters in the story as in reality.

That makes a lot of difference and has a great impact on the audience accepting it and applauding it.

Biopics have made their place in Cinema and is going to be such a genre which is likely to take over General Cinema in the coming years.
