In Sports Exists Humanity.

Sports and humanity are the two things which go together all the time. In sports lies Humanity. The spirit of the sport goes by humanity. The spirit of the sport contains humanity. Humanity is something that completes the sport besides the sportsmen and everything else.

When a sportsman plays a sport , he always respects humanity. He always gives importance to being humble besides playing the sport.

Not only do the sportsmen play against each other but also make sure to be around each other when one needs another.

Not only in the times of happiness but also in the times of help. When it is required.
Well , that's what the sport is all about. That's what sportsmanship is all about. It's all about the mutual respect one has for the other at the end of the day irrespective of the result of the sport.

One of these recent incidents where in humanity had won over everything , where a sportsman has given a helping hand towards his fellow sportsman , where in humanity was everything that mattered , keeping all the differences aside.

The most recent incident was when Ex-Indian Cricketer Jacob Martin , 46 who played 10 ODIs, met with a road accident on December 28 and sustained injuries to his lungs and liver. He has been on ventilator ever since.

Ever since the news of Jacob Martin being hospitalized came in , the entire cricketing faternity came together to support the cricketer's family who need support at the most at this moment.

The hospital expenses are up to 70,000 /- per day as per the reports , which is actually very expensive.

Amidst everything , the cricketing world has come together to help Jacob recover as soon as possible and is ready to help him and his family by all means.

Top IPL franchise , Chennai Super Kings have announced an amount of 3,00,000 rupees in the aid of the cricketer I'll health.

Veteran Cricketers , Zaheer Khan , Yusuf Pathan , Irfan Pathan and Munaf Patel have also came forward to assure help to Jacob.

The Board of Cricket Control in India has also sanctioned Rs 5 lakh /- towards the treatment of Jacob Martin.

Martin's first Captain in International Cricket Sourav Ganguly has also made sure that his family is not alone at this crucial time ensuring all means of support to his fellow teammate and his family.

Amidst everything , one such beautiful yet kind gesture came in from the Baroda All rounder and one half of the Pandya Brothers , Krunal Pandya.

Krunal Pandya handed over a blank cheque to Martin's family and told them , "Fill it with how much ever is required but nothing less than 1 lakh."

This beautiful gesture from Krunal Pandya has received a lot of appreciation and respect from the cricketing faternity.

When we see these kind of sad incidents happening , all we expect is for humanity. That is what is required out of everything.

Let's wish Jacob Martin a very speedy recovery and applaud and show the deserving respect to all the Cricketers who've lent a helping hand in this situation when it's required the most. This incident is one more example of humanity winning over everything.
