India is a country with a population of 1.35 Billion. Well , that's hugeeeee! In such a country wherepeople with different tastes and choices live , there are few likings and dislikings people have in common. It's that huge number of people who follow and like few things.

Two of the main sectors that the people like are "POLITICS" and"ENTERTAINMENT". When it comes to ENTERTAINMENT , It's always been "CINEMA". May it be a popular cinema or an actor's wedding or a controversy. It happens all in CINEMA.

These two sectors have been engaging the audience to involve themselves in the current topics in an active manner.

All thanks to the politicians , actors , directors and the audiences, especially, whoengage in the most active way possible.

India has been 'MODI'fied since 2014 and we are almost nearing the General Elections which will take place in May , later this year. We are either assured to get a new Prime Minister or the "Achhe din" are going to repeat again. Let's vote and decide our future.

Now coming to ENTERTAINMENT , Cinema especially has always been there in some form or the other.

The latest interaction between both the sectors took place when Bollywood decided to meet the Prime Minister , Mr. NARENDRA MODI.

The meeting was regarding the issue of reducing the GST on Movie Ticket prices , which was implemented recently.

CINEMA is considered as one of the main aspects to the nation's well being and nation building. They create a great impact on people in various ways possible.

"HAPPY FACES ALL OVER" as Bollywood meets PM Narendra Modi.

Right since GST had been introduced , many sectors in the nation were affected. One of the sectors being , CINEMA.

With such a big decision taken , BOLLYWOOD is all smiles now. The audiences can now watch movies with no financial pressure. All thanks to MODI Ji.

Here's what KARAN JOHAR had uploaded on his Instagram handle with the above mentioned picture. The above picture was captioned - "Powerful and timely conversations can bring about change and this was one of what we hope will become a regular conversation. Meeting the honorable Prime Minister @narendramodi today was an incredible opportunity.

As a community , there is a huge interest to contribute to nation building. There is so much that we want to do and can do and this dialogue was towards how and what ways we can do that. When the youngest country ( in demography ) joins hands with the largest movie industry in the world , we hope to be a force to reckon with. Together we would love to inspire and ignite positive changes to a transformative India.

The film industry would also like to send a huge thanks for the GST reduction in movie ticket prices that was implemented recently!

Thank you so much for your time , Sir"! , Karan wrote.

We hope this bond between CINEMA and POLITICS grows stronger and stronger with time for the nation's well being.
