Recipient of several accolades Alia Bhatt is one of the highest-paid actresses in India. She is regarded as one of the most successful Bollywood Actress. Beginning in 2014, she appeared in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list, based on her income and popularity, and in 2017, she was featured by Forbes Asia in their 30 Under 30 list.

Alia Bhatt was born on March 15, 1993. She is the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan. Her father is of Gujarati descent and her mother is of Kashmiri and German ancestry. Director Nanabhai Bhatt is her paternal grandfather. She has a sister Shaheen Bhatt, a half sister Pooja Bhatt and a half brother Rahul Bhatt.

Alia has completed high-school from Jamnabai Narsee School in May 2011.

She started her career in Bollywood as a lead role in the film Student Of The Year, directed by Karan Johar, alongside with Sidharth Malhotra & Varun Dhawan but she has made her first on-screen appearance in 1999 as a child artist in the Bollywood film Sangharsh, in which she played the role of young Preity Zinta. By the time she was acting, she was barely 7 years old.

She also did many other hit feature films like 2 States (2014), Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), Kapoor & Sons (2016), Dear Zindagi (2016),Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), Raazi (2018), Gully boy (2019), and Kalank(2019).

She has also a great voice and she has sung several famous songs like Sooha Saha of film Highway (2014), Samjhawan Unplugged of film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), Ikk Kudi (Club Mix) of film Udta Punjab (2016), Love You Zindagi (Club Mix) and Ae Zindagi Gale Laga Le – 2 of film Dear Zindagi (2016), and Humsafar (Alia’s version) of film Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017).

Not only films, but she is also becoming a popular face for brands. She is endorsing many brands like Maybelline. She became the first brand endorser for UberEats. From Nokia, Sunfeast, Frooti to Lux and Make My Trip, Alia has a wide range of brands endorsement.

Alia is popular not only for her acting skills, but she also became a part of online culture after her memes went viral on social media.

She loves animals and is also a member of the non-profit organization, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) who raise awareness among people about homeless animals.
