In the 21st century, one can safely assume that the most common cause of death is not cancer but how one's body is just crumbling and breaking. It is breaking even at the age of 30.

If we look at the last two generations, you'll find that most died in their sleep, quite peacefully.

Now if you're thinking, this article is just too dark for my taste, hang on, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Why do we find our bodies not cooperating with us? Is this the next step in evolution? Were we always supposed to invent and then symbiotically infuse with machines? Are our bodies really that pathetic that we need new machanic bodies to fulfill our desires or long life and even immortality?

These are all valid questions. But when you see what an Usian Bolt can do, a Wim Hoffman, a Michael Phelps, a Ronaldo, or countless other individuals can do, obviously the answer is our bodies are much more capable than we think.

So how did we end up like this? Only 3 decades ago, everyone, everywhere was just a powerhouse of strength and vitality. They lived longer too. Nowadays the look on teenagers faces shows no interest in life whatsover, and no strength to live it. The people of the past generations knew, that the body is the primary vehicle that determines how far one goes in life.

We've heard this many times, Healthy body, healthy mind. But who cares about the body, the mind is what we're after. So how do we go back to that? What did people for ages have been doing that we as "modern folks" have so conveniently forgotten? What should we do?

I'll leave you with this, “It is a disgrace to grow old through sheer carelessness before seeing what manner of man you may become by developing your bodily strength and beauty to their highest limit.” - Socrates
