Love At First Sight- Myth

A love at first sight is a myth. It cannot be true. One cannot see someone and immediately fall in love just by seeing. Love is realizing someone's inner beauty and then giving it all. This phrase of "love at first sight" is constantly in use by the people of this generation, but the question is how can you just fall in love by looking at someone? If a person says that he has fallen in love with someone just at the glimpse of that person then it is attraction and not love. Though love is a small four letter word, it has an intense and profound meaning. It is much more than it seems to be. It is like a deep ocean and you would have to dive deep into it, to know its true essence.

Love requires deep knowledge and understanding of that other person. It is that bond which grows strong over time and requires a deep foundation. How can a person meet someone and in moments realize they are meant to be? An initial strong attraction just by looking cannot be stated as love. It does not also mean the "ringing of three bells when u see that person" as depicted in 'Main Tera Hero'. But in a world where getting into a relationship requires a lot of work- work that includes rejections and disappointments, love at first sight excites people more. Love happens when you are more concerned about the other than yourself, it includes lots of faith and trust and cannot survive without truth. It tends to make us see each other’s flaws as perfection and then subsequently you start finding peace in those flaws. It is like adoring someone through the darkest times and never let them feel alone.It is that feeling that puts butterflies in your stomach. This kind of love cannot simply be achieved by love at first sight because this kind of love would blossom in the warm spring initially but it would not be able to tolerate the cold winters and would slowly disintegrate.

How can a person know that he could spend the rest of his life with that person, only by a glimpse? Love is done with someone who, you know and who understands you. Love is done with qualities and inner beauty and with what he has in commom with you. It is a debatable topic indeed that money is required for the survival of love but then if the couple is strong enough, they can overcome all obstacles.

Therefore, that likeness and attraction must be given some time so that it could be transformed into love over time- which could then be nourished and taken care ofso that you could live your life happily.
