Chernobyl is a five part British-American historical drama series created and written by Craig Mazin and directed by Johan Renck. It is a co-production between the American cable network "HBO" and the British television network "Sky". The series depicts the Chernobyl nuclear disaster that occurred in the Soviet Union in April 1986 and the unprecedented cleanup efforts that followed.
Chernobyl basically dramatizes "the true story of one of the worst man-made catastrophes in history and tells of the brave men and women who sacrificed themselves to save Europe from unimaginable disaster. DEFINITELY WORTH A WATCH IN MY OPINION.
My personal favourite to be honest. Lucifer first premiered on Fox on January 25th, 2016, but was cancelled after just 3 seasons. After the fans demanded "Justice For Lucifer", Netflix resurrected the series by releasing a season 4 which premiered on Netflix, on May 8th 2019. Although this is not technically a tv series, it is still definitely worth a watch, as it contains an amazing mixture of comedy, suspense and action.
The series revolves around Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis), the Devil, who abandons Hell for Los Angeles where he runs his own nightclub and becomes a consultant to the LAPD. The series has been given a rating of 8.62 on Rotten Tomatoes, which speaks for itself.
THE MOST IMPORTANT COP SHOW. EVER. That basically sums it up. You have to watch this one. A great mixture of comedy and true cop action, this series will definitely keep you hooked. The series revolves around Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg), an immature-but-talented NYPD detective in Brooklyn's 99th Precinct, who comes into conflict with his new commanding officer, the serious and stern Captain Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher).
The Society is an American mystery teen drama web television series created by Christopher Keyser, that premiered on Netflix on May 10, 2019. The Society follows the story of a "group of teenagers who struggle to survive after they're mysteriously transported to a replica of their wealthy town with no trace of their parents. Again, a Netflix series, but very interesting and intriguing to say the least.
L.A.'s Finest is a 2019 American police procedural drama television series created by Brandon Margolis and Brandon Sonnier; and produced by Sony Pictures Television. It is an offshoot of the Bad Boys film franchise created by George Gallo. The series premiered on Spectrum on May 13, 2019.
L.A.'s Finest follows Syd Burnett, who last was seen in Miami taking down a drug cartel. She now has left her complicated past behind to become an LAPD detective. Paired with a new partner, Nancy McKenna, a working mom with an equally complex past. These two women don’t agree on much, but they find common ground when it comes to taking on the most dangerous criminals in Los Angeles. Very Interesting and will always keep you intrigued throughout the series.
