It’s easy to get lost. Everything could be going right yet nothing feels right. You’ve set a particular path for yourself yet it makes no sense? Yeah, I get it. In fact I feel like this quite often. Am I going down the right path? Am I doing what really makes me happy?
There’s really no one to blame here because there’s no one really at fault. You are not a problem. Sometimes life throws such a random curve ball out of no where that we find ourselves trapped in this loop alone. There are benefits to this however.Solitude need not be a sad thing. Being alone will bring you this peace that you never knew you could have. I have discovered so many things about myself from just spending time with myself! Solitude is that addiction that will help you realise what you want in life. Get to know yourself more, you aren’t as boring or bad as you think you are.
One trap we often fall into is the “why is this happening only to me” mindset. You don’t know what others are going through. For all you know they’re struggling just as much as you trying to find some meaning. So relax. We all feel lost sometimes. Yet, life goes on.
This is my point. Life goes on and will continue going on according to how you make it. Change is the only thing constant and don’t worry; with every end comes a new beginning. Experience all of your emotions and have faith that every one of those experiences have lessons. It’s okay to feel down. It’s okay to take your time to figure things out, but don’t negate everything else in your life. Often times all the answers we are looking for are right in front of us!
Acceptance is the key. Throw tantrums, have outbursts, do whatever you need to feel better. But accept ultimately that things have happened and are now done. You’ve survived.
You want to find your true path? Spend time with yourself! Go on walks in nature, breathe the fresh air. Exercise and get your body moving. Yoga is a great means of releasing built up energy! Start writing a journal or diary consisting of all your thoughts. You think you have a great idea? Write it down immediately. Don’t let your fear of the unknown stop you from progressing to the happiness of the future.
