Kids Of Smartphone Era

"The kids nowadays are worse". You can see a lot of people using this statement to describe todays generation and especially the smartphone era kids. And even as a 90’s born kid I find it annoying to hear this statement again and again. So I asked myself why we hate them and find out the reasons why.

“They spend too much time on mobile gaming instead of playing outside”
This is actually very good point. But do you know why they don’t play outside? This is because I remember there were a lot of free space and grounds available. Now everything has become apartment’s. Now there is rarely any place left to play and even if there is it is so poorly maintained.

“They do cringy shit online”

Do you remember we were dancing like fools in front of relatives and friends?. The problem now is you have the internet to make it available to all the people in the world. We would never be different from them if we had the internet.

“Too much time on Social media”

This is because the parents don’t spend time with the kids. In our generation one of the parents stay at home taking care of us instead of handing us smart phone. Now both the parents are working which is also a good sign but instead of handing a smart phone they should hand some toys or some books. My parents always gave me a book to read before I sleep but now the kids stay all night and scroll through social media.

“The way they treat their relationships ugh!!!”

“In our generations relationships are treated something sacred now they are just ruining it” said my friend who has never been in a relationship. The problem is that they don’t know what it takes to build a good relationships. My mother said that true love always exists after 19 (The teenage years).And I think this is true there should be maturity to make sacrifices to build a relationship otherwise there is no love in a relationship just lust.And quotes like these really make us hard to like you guys

These are some of the reasons people in my generation hate the next generation and I think these are some of the reasons to explain that they are not only responsible but also external factors responsible for their behaviour.
