Dear Prerna,

I wanted to write you a love letter. I know it’s a little silly but I thought I’d try anyway. So it's a request that you please read from your heart not mind. It’s just that I feel so much when I’m with you that I try to put it in words so that you know how I feel about you. You are such a gift to me. Having you in my life is such a blessing.

I can’t see you right now but I can picture how you are. I see your hair and the way it falls on your shoulders, the way you smile and how you look right before you laugh. I want to be next to you right now. I don’t want you to hold anything back. Knowing you has been such an amazing adventure. Ever since I met you, I knew that my life would never ever be the same again. Since I have known you, life has never been sweeter. Thanks to you, my life is more exciting and full of happiness. You have helped me open so many doors that I would have left closed and undiscovered if it were not for you. With you, I am bolder, less afraid, and ready to conquer my next adventure. Knowing you, loving you, and being loved by you in return has been the best adventure of my life and I never want our adventure to come to an end.

Baby, I’m not one for romance. In truth, I suck at it. I never know the right flowers to get or what chocolates will make you happy. But there is one thing I know how to do, something I can do well. And that is to love you. And when I really think about it, it’s possibly one of the most natural things I’ve ever done in my life.

I hope that you know that I will always be there for you. I can feel you close to me even though you’re far away.
