Marcus Harris (3 out of 10) -

The young perth born cricketer didn't do much in Australia's victory. The opener's scores in 4th test are 13 & 6. He failed badly to give Australia a solid start which they needed.

David Warner(1 out of 10)-

Probably Australia would be most dissapointed with the performance of the ‘Pocket size dynamite' of their team. Before the ban in 2018 he certainly was the most consistent performer for Australia in tests after Steven Smith. But since his comeback he failed terribly in test format , and it's no different in the 4th test as he scored 0 in both innings.

Marnus Labuchagne ( 7 out of 10) -

The surprise package in this Ashes series. Labuschagne was brought in after Smith was hit in the head of a bouncer in the 2nd test. Since then he already accumulated 291 runs in 5 innings. In the 4th test he scored valuable 67 runs in the first innings and also took the wicket if Jack Leech in the 4th innings as a part time bowler, when England's 10th wicket partnership was looking rock solid and England were heading for a draw.

Steven Smith (9.5 out of 10) -

The modern day test legend can hardly make any mistake. The highest run getter of the Ashes 2019-20 and saviour of Australia had already accumulated 671 runs in the series including 2 hundreds and a double hundred. The innings of 211 runs came in the 1st innings of the 4th test match. He also scored 82 runs in the second innings.

Travis Head (4 out of 10) -

With scores of 19 and 12 in the 4th test his performance was certainly not good enough. He is another batsman on whom Australia would be dissapointed other than the openers.

Matthew Wade (6 out of 10) -

In the second innings of the test he certainly played a decent knock of 34 runs and had a good partnership of 100+ runs with Steven Smith to create more pressure on England. Though he failed in the first innings he did a decent job in the second innings.

Tim Paine (7 out of 10) -

The captain and wicketkeeper of the team might not be having a good series but in the 4th test he did his job perfectly. He scored 58 in the first innings and scored a quickfire 23 in the second innings . Not to forget he also did captaincy pretty well by taking apt decisions according to situations.

Pat Cummins (9 out of 10)-

The current world's best test bowler has already taken 24 wickets in 2019-20 Ashes series. In this match also he was instrumental along with Hazlewood and Starc to give Australia a first innings lead of 196 runs. In the the final innings his 4 wicket haul helped Australia to stop England from reaching even close to the target.

Mitchell Starc (9 out of 10)-

The ferocious left arn pacer was playing his first match in the series and he picked up 4 wickets in the match. That is certainly not anything special from a bowler like him, but his innings with bat where he scored a quickfire 54 runs in the first innings which propelled Australia's score to 497 was indeed something special.

Nathan Lyon ( 6.5 out of 10)

The right arm off break bowler scored 26 runs with bat in the first innings but failed to take a single wicket in his 36 overs of bowling. But he picked up a couple of wickets in the second innings and helped Australia to bowl England out in the 4th innings for a paltry score.

Josh Hazlewood ( 8 out of 10)

He has to be the most impressive bowler from either side in this series. In the 4th test though he didn't had to bat he picked up a total of 6 wickets in the match and was a vital cog in Australia's series decisive victory. He had been Australia's vital weapon througout the series.
