Messengers

Talking is one of those essential tasks that man needs to fulfill in life. Sharing the happenings of your life with your friends and close ones is necessary for happiness and contentment in life. Talking and sharing is a part of socialising and spreading your networks and increasing friend circles.

Now when we have such busy lives and engaging workloads, it's not easy to meet or visit friends and aqcuantainces, hence a need for a platform or network to share and discuss arises and to fulfill this need, messaging apps have been designed usually called 'messengers'. They are designed for the sake of sharing and being able to discuss events one is going through. Living such quick and occupied lives these messengers have come up like a saviour into the social web world. These messengers require an Internet connection and are otherwise free of cost which is one of the positive aspects of these messaging applications. We all are quite aware of these apps and at some level are dependent on them for holding up conversations with our friends relatives or extended families. There are so many messengers which have been oriented these days as a communication aid. Al most all of them have the same features and facilities, apps like WhatsApp, Hike, Imo are some of these messenger apps which are well known among people. Features such as texting, voice calling, video calling, status stories, filters, media and location sharing facility are the key features of these messengers. People generally share their routines and day and night events with their contacts by posting these status stories and/or by using other facilities provided by the app.

But these apps have become a centre for diverting the minds of the people. Some people are indulged in spreading rumours and directing mindsets of people to opposite directions or on wrong paths to make others believe what they want them to. These people and the rumours spead by them are the ultimate threats to the society and the health of the democracy in our nation.

There is a need to rejuvenate the misbeliefs of such people and for us to be aware of such activities and condemn them rather than forwarding them to more people.
