It was 6am in the morning when a child was sleeping in the arms of his mother. His little blinking eyes got open by the orangish yellow colour of sunlight. Without disturbing his mother he tried to step down from the bed. Initially he couldn’t make it and fell down. But what lifted him up is, his utmost courage and determination, he didn’t give up. He tried again $ again and was finally able to stand on his own feet without the help of this mother. That baby is you, me, our President and every single individual who have reached the heights in life. Being in such a tender age when he didn’t even have the thinking capacity, we didn’t accept our failure and backed out, so WHY NOW? That too now being a person who is able to reason and knows the practical`s of life. It`s time to grow up, time to fight back against all odds and stand as firm as a rock!!!!
Failure is the best passport to success. The great scientist Thomas Alva Edison once said, “I have no failed, I have just found 10,000 ways that wont work. Thus behind every success there is a great failure. Unfortunately we are aware of the great achievements, but oblivious of the tears $ toil which accompanied them. Thus failure is one step which takes closer to the goal. Failing again means, that there is another road one should not take. It gives us valuable experience $ as we all know Experience is a great teacher.
Besides experience failure makes us humble. It gives us the courage and the faith to overcome the setback, which make us practical and realistic. Even fortune favours the brave. It provides an opportunity to re access the objective and plan the future course of action, in the light of mistakes made in the past. However to turn a stumbling block into a stepping stone, we have to overcome the fear of failure and doubt. These usually arise when we fail. The supplemented with a strong and burning desire to succeed would overcome all odds that come in the way. History is replete with examples of great failures that eventually became great success stories. Like Abraham Lincoln, Walt Disney, The Wright Brothers etc.
Failing doesn’t make one failure. Giving up, accepting failure, refusing to try again does. Itshould be used as a driving force, to propel one towards the goal rather than deviated from it. Winston Churchill one said, “Success is stumbling from failure with no loss of enthusiasm”. One should take it as a stepping-stone for realising dreams and not treat it as an obstacles.
This is for in the words of H.W Longfellow,
“Life battle don’t always go
To the stronger and faster man.
But sooner or later men who wins
Is the man who thinks I can”.
