Recently we saw few smartphones coming with pop up selfie camera which created a buzz in the smartphone industry.

The all new Oppo F11 pro also features a 16 MP pop up selfie camera.

What are Pop Up Cameras

Pop Up cameras are cameras built into electronic devices that won’t come out until the user chooses for them to come out. For example, Huawei’s new laptop comes with a pop up camera that is concealed as a key on the keyboard.

Is the Pop Up Cameras Mean For the Future of Camera Design?

In short, the existence ofpopcamerasmeansmakershave recognizeda handfulof greatissueswithhowevercamerassquare measurepresentlyintegrated into theirproduct. First, standard cameras are a huge security hazard. Second, standard cameras necessitate a bigger screen bezel. It is clear thatpopcamerassquare measuremeantto combateachof thoseissues.

Some smartphone manufactures are also coming up with designs for pop up cameras
The pop up selfie camera in Oppo Reno series will be having shark finn design.
The all new Realme 3 pro which is going to launch this month is expected to come with a pop up selfie camera (not yet confirmed).

In my opinion Pop up cameras really changes user experience for smartphones Oppo F11 pro,Oppo Reno and other electronics like the Huaweilaptop.Howeversome of their current forms are far fromgood, as shown by the rather awkward angle of thepopcameradesignedinto Huawei’s newportable computer.

There may be other designs in future just like shark finn for pop up selfie cameras .
It's not a bad idea to get a hands on a smartphone with pop up selfie camera and experience it.
