Yes, of course, some addicts are happy. There is a saying amongst addicts that goes: My only problem with drugs is that I can't get enough of them!!! The drug itself generally makes the addict happy, and although some might call it fake happiness, its a form of joy nevertheless. You could say all drug addicts have been happy for at least some of the time they were using if only because the drug made them temporarily happy. But ya it's temporary and here it divides into two category one who falls under who don't have any money and others who have a lot of money and still took drugs. Those who don't have money and still took drugs are nearer to death, as it will land them in a more unconscious position and they go under depression and start stealing things. So, if someone has money and still taking drugs are somewhat happy than those without money, because they took drugs to avoid depression of money but now they are going in more depression as now they don't have money to buy it. So, it all depends on your condition. As you see you get to know that even the medicine you took contain some drugs that's why it's written there took under doctor guidance. Ya, sometimes drug could be used for relaxation but the amount you took also matters, if you took daily then it becomes your habit else not. So, if you took drugs to avoid depression took these under someone's professional guidance. The major thing is to try to avoid these type of things as it will just damage your immune system and nothing else. Follow proper guidance and if you have a habit of these things then go fora doctor he might help you if you are serious about this. Try to use herbal and natural things which also help you to retain your immune system. Afterall drugs are very helpful to scientists as they do research and it is found that some diseases are only be cured by some specific drugs. As everything has some bad and good aspects, so as drugs have. Also once you start taking drugs you need money to buy them as your parents wouldn't give you a single penny for this, and so you start borrowing money from your friends and it will land you in a debt and then your life becomes useless and you are useless. However, there are also a significant number of unhappy addicts. These are usually the types that have turned to drugs as a way of self-medicating various problems away. Whilst they may achieve the happiness of sorts they usually find it is short-lived as the drug itself becomes an added problem. They find drugs have only masked their underlying problems, which in the end still exist. Those that are financially well off and use drugs experimentally and as a way to party and enjoy themselves are usually the kinds of addicts you may reservedly term happy.That is opposed to the abused, low self-esteemed, and desperate addict using to get away from their problems.
