What is freedom? It is the ability to do as one pleases. These days all of us want to free without any restrictions. We all want to do as we wish to do but is freedom actually good for us? Yes it gives us a lot of pleasure doing things our way but for how long will it give us pleasure?. We always need someone to guide us when things don’t seem to be going the right way. I always argued with my mother that let me be free. I always said that "why do you impose so much restrictions one me?’’. Once my friend invited me to her birthday party late at night .

I told my mother that I wanted to go for that party but she clearly said that no, you are not going. I got really upset and annoyed with her. I told her that this time I am not going to listen to her. I said that every time you stop me from attending such parties but not this time. I said that "I have my own life and I want to enjoy it’’. My mother was quite for a long time listening to this and then finally she said that "okay if you want to be free then go to the party”. I was really happy listening to this but in the back of my mind I was confused that how did my mother agree to this so quickly.

I quickly dressed up for the party and my friend had sent her driver to pick me up. I safely reached the place. When I entered the place I saw that a lot of boys there were drunk and there were a lot such things happening that I didn’t expected. I felt a little awkward but I focused on enjoying the party. After sometime I saw a drunk boy there misbehaving with a girl. I got really scared and I decided to leave the party immediately. It was 1 am, I had got no calls from my mother.

I tried searching for a cab so that I could reach home but I didn’t found any. Everything around me seemed very scary. There were no people around from whom I could ask for help. I tried calling my mother but she didn’t pick up my call. Suddenly I saw a group of boys on a Bike . They were all drunk and I saw them coming towards me. I was terrified but suddenly a car honked and to my surprise I saw it was my mother. I quickly sat in the car and we left the place immediately . I thanked my mother and apologised for not listening to her. I told her that she was right and my life would have been all messed up if she wasn’t there for guiding me.
