  1. Marble palace

Marble palace was built in 1835 by Raja Rajendra Mullick. It is located near ram mandir and beside the busiest road central avenue. The contrast which attracts me the most from the busy road to a calm and quiet ambience. The place greets you with the smell of history and the green garden. The palace takes you back ot the past with it's neoclassical architechture, beautiful landscaping ,the big green garden and a pond. It is famous for it's marble walls , floors and marvellous sculptures made out of marble.Next to the palace there is a marble palace zoo interstringly which was India's first zoo, which consists of deers , peacock, tocans , storks and cranes. All in all the place takes you away from the hustle and bustle fo the city for a while.
