In one word we can combine this big title into a term: "Exfoliation"

If you want a glowing skin, then you have to exfoliate your skin. It is a must do process.

In this write-up I'll explain how to exfoliate your skin by using natural ingredients instead of using those harsh chemical packs.

Lemon Juice

It contains alpha hydroxy acid which will remove the dead skin cells. Lemon juice is a natural ingredient which will help you in exfoliating your dead skin cells.

Take half cup of lemon juice and mix some sugar in it. Apply this on your face and rinse it off after 20 minutes.

Honey

Honey is another natural exfoliator which will speed up the exfoliation process. Honey attracts moisture and it is a good hydrating facial scrub.

You just have to take a handful of honey and apply it on your face. Gently scrub and then rinse it off with cool water after ten minutes.

Papaya

It contains an enzyme known as 'papain' which dissolves dead skin cells.

Take a papaya and mash it. Mash the fruit into a smooth paste. Apply it on your face. Leave it for fifteen minutes and then rinse it off with cool water.

Please make sure that you scrub after applying the paste.

Yogurt

Yogurt contains lactic acid which will turn your skin soft by removing the dead skin cells. It will provide an even skin tone.

Apply plain yogurt and leave it for twenty minutes. Rinse it after twenty minutes with cool water.

Sugar

This is a natural source which boosts new cell production when applied. It softens the skin as it contains glycolic acid. Due to the the presence of alpha hydroxy it smoothens the skin.

Take a half cup of brown sugar and mix it with enough olive oil. You can replace olive oil with coconut oil. Apply it on your face and leave it for ten minutes. Scrub gently after applying. Rinse it after ten minutes with cool water.

Aloe Vera

As you all know aloe vera is rich in its antioxidant properties. There are many anti-inflammatory compounds in aloe vera, such as vitamin C. Being a strong antioxidant it removes dead skin cells in a fast pace. Hence people with any skin type can use aloe vera to exfoliate their skin.

Take a fresh aloe vera. Skim its gel part. Grind it till you attain a liquid form. Mix some green gram flour and apply it to your face. Massage gently. Rinse it off with cool water after twenty minutes.

Hi Sam, As you said lemon is highly acidic with it's pH level being 2;that is the reason why I said to mix it with sugar(pH-7 to 9)which has got the required properties. I hope you know that exfoliation is a kind of scrubbing and shedding process. Due to it's 'citric acid' and vitamin c content it helps in exfoliating dead skin cells. It's best to apply for 20minutes and not more than that. If you still have a problem while using it,please mix rosewater as well as glycerine.

lemon is highly acidic in nature and will disrupt the skin's natural Ph balance. Do not put lemon on your face gays.
