Body Swap (Part I) :- The Initiation

The door of the class room opened and Abhinav asked “May I come in sir?”

“No” replied Professor Yashpal.

“How many times have I told you to be on time Abhinav. I know the rest of your class due to their nature or their marks but I know you because you are always late for my class. Does he do the same in all classes?” asked Prof Yashpal to the class.

“No sir. In rest, he’s the first to arrive” replied the CR of the class.

“Why can’t this man don’t shut his mouth for some time.” Abhinav murmured.

“What did you just called me Mr Abhinav?”

“Nothing sir” replied Abhinav.

“Louder. I can’t hear you” said Teacher.

“NOTHING SIR” Abhinav merely shouted and everybody started laughing.

“Leave my class right now” professor ordered him.

He left the class and went to another room.
“What does he thinks of himself? The man don’t even asked me the reason why I’m late. Always that same shit. Blah blah blah…. Never ever he wants to listen anyone. Just goes on repeating the same stuff.” Abhinav tried to calm down his anger but he wasn’t able to.

After the class, his professor caught him and told him “See don’t try to be over-smart in front of me. I’ve experience more than your age. I was a student too but I was very disciplined one, not someone like you. Grow up. Improve your behaviour.” Abhinav was hardly listening to him.

Professor completed his speech and left and Abhinav too went for his class. But he was not able to focus on the class. He was still angry over his professor.

“What do these professors think of themselves? Their life is so sorted. No boring lectures. No classes. No assignments. No quizzes, no test. They are just so free and they think we are too. Can someone tell them we have many work to do out of which maximum are what you idiots give us. These psychos can never understand how difficult it is being a student.”

Somewhere in the same campus, his professor was thinking something similar. “These modern day kids are so misbehaved. We used to fear our teacher but these are so fearless. They don’t care about anything. They don’t know how our professors were. We are so lenient with them. They don’t know life of a professor. Their lives are so chill. They don’t have to handle a class of 120 students. They don’t have to check assignments. They didn’t have to design exam papers and didn’t have to check them. So relaxing.”

While they were busy in thinking this, suddenly there was a celestial announcement “O wise peoples, you both are not happy with your own life. You think, being each other is easy task. Yashpal and Abhinav, do you think its easy to be like the other?”

Both replied “Yes”
“Okay. So I’m swaping you both. Now onwards Yashpal, you are Abhinav and Abhinav, you are Prof Yashpal.” said the announcement. Soon afterwards, a bright light shined and everything just faded out.
