Swachh Bharat Mission

Introduction:-

"Swach Bharat Mission" started by our Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi to achieve the vision of clean India, the vision of Mahatma Gandhi. Swachh Bharat Mission was started on 2^nd October 2014, through out the country with the help of different organisations, schools and ministers. It is India's one of the greatest cleanliness drive. Swachh Bharat Mission is achieving different milestones on different level.

Achievements :-

• The first and the most important achievement made by swachh bharat mission is the change of mentality, people now think before throwing garbage here and there, after eating the tetra pak foods people look for dust bins to throw the wrappers, they have a feeling now that throwing garbage out of the house will make the house clean but litter the surrounding and will not be good for health. And this change in such a short period of time and for such a huge country is a big achievement.

• The situation of sanitation is changing and in a great pace. Most of the houses in villages didn't had toilets due to which people used to go out in fields or river side, which was not good for health as it can give birth to different life threatning diseases also it polutes the water of river. But under the swachh bharat mission villages have community toilets or personel toilets, so the number of people going out has decreased.

• Besides health risks, the life of girls and women is unsafe. Numerous number of murders,rapes,kidnappings ocurrs when they go out alone to defecate. Such problems are preventable. Availability of adequate sanitation facilities and their usage by everyone can save lives, ensure nutrition, productivity, women’s security and dignity.

There are so many such examples which can be seen and observed. Swachh Bharat mission succes can be seen through these examples.

Why Government had to think of Swachh Bharat Mission???

The reasons are -

• Mentality we had towards cleanliness and garbage disposal.

• Money for BPL families as they couldn't afford to make personal toilets.

• Lack of awareness about cleanliness.

• Lack of interests in people.

So, change your mentality towards the cleanliness and surroundings, make people aware of clean surroundings and different diseases that we will have if we don't have a clean surrounding, raise funds for families who cannot afford to make toilet in there home, increase the interest of people towards swachh bharat whom you see littering the surroundings. And help government to make India a clean and beautifull India.
