Childhood left imprints of some beautiful memories we created. We cherish the glorious days of our childhood when we came running back from our school just to catch the episodes of our favorite cartoon on time. Singing along the title track of the shows with a playful grin on the face. The cartoon characters not only entertained us every single day, but they also taught us the most valuable life lessons which we might not have understood back then but can embrace their efforts now.
So here’s a nostalgic trip to your childhood.

Four teenagers along with their dog riding an old purple green van on their way to solve crimes. Our young Sherlock Holmes caught so many criminals in rubber masks. They taught us that there’s no such thing as monsters and that in the end, real monsters are humans. Also, sometimes when Velma wandered without her glasses, she thought she was okay even when she was surrounded by monsters and confusing things for a monster. So we realized that monsters aren’t seen the way they are. We need to put on our glasses see what people or the situations are.

An octopus that had a dog as a pet and that dog looked like a hot dog. It seems funny if we think about it now. Oswald should be treated as an epitome of kindness. He always greeted the people around him by bowing down and removing his hat. He took the pain to help out his friends in every way whether it was Henry being sick or taking care of Katrina when Madame Butterfly was busy working in her restaurant. Most importantly he was optimistic. “ Har din alag ha Henry, kya maloom kab kya ho jaaye.”

This show literally changed the game. It showed that one doesn’t need to be a male to take down the evil. Your size can’t stop you from being a badass. Blossom was the intelligent one who sought justice against the evil along with her sisters. Bubbles was the sensitive one. She taught us that it’s okay to have emotions. You can still take down the evil after long day drama. Buttercup was the aggressive one who can’t let anything happen to her sisters. She taught us to stand unflinchingly for ourselves.

The most amazing cartoon ever. I bet some people still watch it. I still do! Jerry is a small mouse who is undefeated and always plays Tom with its high intelligence, potential, and determination. So, we should not underestimate our opponent to think that they are powerless. Tom always threatens Jerry but never killed her. They stand united. There have been endless fights between Tom and Jerry, but in the end, they take efforts to unite and stand up against the common problems they face.

Pooh was most adorable. He’s such a delightful and innocent bear. There are just too many lessons to learn from him. The most important ones are about love and patience. A little consideration, a little thought for others, makes all the difference. And if the person you are talking to does not appear to be listening, be patient.

“Whoa, Mama!” This handsome man was constantly out there to impress ladies. His relentless flirting always failed to impress the ladies. But he never gave up. The show taught us that flirting is never a way to earn a woman’s affection, never give up and never stop loving yourself.

Life is too short to hang around people who make you feel poop about yourself. Instead, be surrounded by people who genuinely care for you. Worrying doesn’t help. Timon and Pumbaa taught us “Hakuna Matata” which means not to worry and one should live longer and happier.
As grown-ups, we can understand cartoons are full of positive life messages.
Ah! The good ol’ days.
