Anime and real-life
First off, anime is NOT cartoon. Anime is ANIME! They are called two different words for a reason, folks.

You ask, why watch anime?

I say, why not watch anime?
Anime is the perfect way to destress… or stress (depends on when and which anime you watch, the depth in some anime’s can really keep you questioning life and reality for days. Take it from someone who knows).

To everyone who knows anime, likes it, loves watching it, this Wrytup is a shout out. But to everyone who isn’t interested in anime or everything that it provides, I hope this Wrytup can fascinate you enough to give it a chance.

Secondly, yes, I know, it’s available in a language we aren’t very familiar with, but that’s a plus. That’s a good change. Let’s get out of the norm and try something different. Because whatever you thought you came in for, anime takes you on for a whole different ride.

I’ll start off by listing everything that’s awesome about anime.
·Aesthetics
·Characters
·Laws of physics mostly don’t exist

·Storyline/ plot (both cliché and out of this world)
·The plot twists
·So many genres (I wasn’t even aware that some of them existed)
·The development (be it in the story, the characters, or the relations)

·the soundtracks
·language
·hyperbole

·drawing style

(I mean, look at it, people)

·ANIME!!!

Now, if these aren’t enough then let me get to the part where the title makes sense.
There are things that we wish could happen in a positive light.
Everyone is the protagonist of their own stories in their life. And that’s good.
If life was an anime, then there would be cool background music playing, some sweet bubbles glowing, few slow-motion shots and that one awesome scene that’s the highlight of the day.

Anime has a way to stab you with a knife of feelings and twist it into your soul to reduce you to tears.

I always think that the story writers for anime are one of the rare people who actually remember their dreams after they wake up, because how else does one come up with a story line this amazing?!

Why is real life not this way? (Why can I not activate my inner energy?)

Such intricate, developed web of patterns to come up for the answers to the problems that are both impossible and possible.

Animation is another topic that astonishes me. And I am not just talking about those cute male protags in any shoujo anime, or those badass one’s in the action or psychological animes, but all the characters.

Everybody wants that one anime that they have watched to come to life or be a part of. Or want to be a character, just to see how they would look anime style.

If you are in the main cast of the anime, then it is completely possible for you to have any colour of hair if its from the rainbow spectrum. Like no big deal, its just a new born child who is the main lead, but I’m going make it have blue hair. Why? Just because I can.

The dialogues though, that’s where you feel what the character. No matter what language you speak, when you hear the anime character speak with those emotions that they carry, its going to move you. Be it in a motivational manner, romantic, heartbroken, inspirational, or even sass, anime can deliver.

If you want to get to know someone, find out what makes them angry. -Gon Freecs (HunterxHunter)
When I say it doesn't hurt me, that means I can bear it. - Killua Zoldyck (HunterxHunter)

If you are one of those who think that anime is for kids…. Well then, I don’t think you’ve ever heard of anime gore or horror. Its not for everyone, and especially not for the kids.

If you think anime is not for you because you’ve watched some and didn’t like them… then you just haven’t come across the right anime yet.

There’s an anime out there, that will one day, move your heart.

But of course, there are people who don’t like anime in general just because. And you can’t force them to like something. So, let us all just get along no matter our entertainment choices.

And sometimes they are hella relatable.

To all those who watch anime, you are not an anime character.

You don’t get to validate your selfish or rude behaviour by having a sobbing backstory. You don’t get to be careless about your actions, because the consequences take place in real life. This isn’t a theoretical or animation world. People aren’t required to stick around for your tragic flashbacks and learn the reasons behind your actions.

If you go around parading a jerk like character, people are allowed to think of you as such and nothing more.

The same goes for you, you shouldn’t stick around people who don’t treat you with respect just because they’ve been through a lot. Many people grow up with traumas. Everyone doesn’t end up being a psychopath or a sociopath. (No offense to those who do). You aren’t required to tag along being a sidekick to the arrogant protagonist.

You shouldn’t think that the tsundere behaviour validates them being a rude person. Some people are just plain rude, deal with it, cut them off, and get on with your day. (If this offends you then I’m sorry)

But of course, there are people who don’t like anime in general just because. And you can’t force them to like something. So, let us all just get along no matter our entertainment choices.

Well, this Wrytup was a blast and so is anime. Hope you guys liked it.
