*The leaders or directors of organisations are often older people. But some people say that young people can also be a leader* , to what extent do you think?

It is true that many leaders and senior executives in global companies are elderly people. Usually, elder people are further assigned to the higher post considering their experience level. However, I would argue that those superb young people are also eligible to take important positions in today's world.

On the one hand, compared to the younger generation, elderly people possess more edges and bigger view point. First and foremost, they have better field skills, listing big picture thinking and long term vision. That's all because they have enough working experience. They have learnt a lot from their failures so that they are now able to take every aspect into consideration before taking any important decisions. They are capable enough to accept any working conditions. In contrast to this, young people have less social experience. Younger people make shortsighted decisions, they are not trained enough to make decisions which have big picture thinking. Even, younger people may not be ready to accept any difficulty or any challenge. However, elderly people have already overcome countless difficulties and challenges, they can quickly adjust their mood in turmoil and lift up the moral of the whole organisation.

On the other hand, there are two reasons why younger people can hold the higher and directors positions in a better way. In the first place, with well educated backgrounds. Younger people are more likely to have deep thinking of the cultural differences and they can make better relations with the other employees in the organisation. Along with this, they can empathise clients much better. Today, empathy plays a key role in retention of talents. Secondly, compared to elder people, younger people can apply to the latest technology and theory in practice. They have their hand free over technology, they can easily cope up with the every changing technology. They can view the negative stereotype of management and greatly improve tge productivity of the organisation.

I hereby conclude, according to me age should not be a barrier to any post in any of the organisations. Age should not be the criterion when selecting the leader or director of the organisation. Both age groups are equally fruitful to the organisation.
