"Gender Equity"

You must be thinking what gender equity is, isn't it?? So let me tell you what gender equity is. You might be knowing gender equality. Gender equality means giving opportunities and gender equity means giving equal income or salary to both men and women. There are equal opportunities provided to women these days in organizations but they are paid less than men sometimes. Sometimes both man and woman have same designation but that man is paid more than woman. So I think along with gender equality , gender equity is also very important. There should be awareness about gender equity to people so that women are not paid less than men. Women must fight against this partiality so that equity is empowered. I think that women are nowhere less than men in any field. Today women are working in every field and also they have become independent. A woman is the one who is a mother, wife ,sister ,daughter and she has many responsibilities on her which she carry's out really well. She balances her proffesional and personal life together with great care. We call our country our motherland and our language our mother tongue then doing partiality by giving them less income than men is so insensitive and insensible. So I think gender equity is very important for empowerment of women.
