A Humorous Profession: Software Tester

Here, I was wondering about this profession. Being an electronics engineer I never knew about this position in an IT industry. Luckily, it came across me when I researched it for my career. There I was searching for an institute to get a course done. A course makes you really understand the working principle, why it is used, how can be used, where should be used. It just gives you a brief idea about software testing.

After completing my course, I understood the basics of the profession. Then, while I was going through the study, I learned every theoretical concept. During that time I felt as if we are not doing our work. Something was going wrong, the feeling that a IT person has to have a serious job. We need to break our brains to get into coding and develop software. But, it is completely opposite working than the actual working process of a software tester. A software tester is a person who works to break the codes of the software developer.

Rather I realized the developer has to work really hard to code software. And the challenge is given by a software tester when the code written by a software developer is proved wrong or funtions going away from the actual working. This is the actual job of a tester to find mistakes and faults in a developers' code. Isn't it funny that our job is to find faults in others work! When I started working it was a better understanding that we never make out bugs on our own. We always needed to refer to documents if some functions are going against the requirements.

The challenges for a tester comes when we need to prove the bugs are there and developers have done some mistake. Due to this challenge, there has been a conflicting environment between software tester and software developer from many years. This situation has to be solved smoothly by tester making developer understand of the faults that he has made. I am never tired to pointing out mistakes professionally. This is the best part as to be working in an IT industry, we must have a passion for it.

The passion depends on the things we have learned, we understand, it helps us to have the energy to work. Nowadays, technologies have been increasing hence more precisely we need to work keeping fun part aside for a bit.But in the end, when I thought of this it was a bit fun job. I have been enjoying my profession. Being a human we are naturally gifted to make out some errors in personal life. To do the same job with some principles, techniques and in the professional environment is only needed. This nature makes me easy to work with lots of fun tasks.
