First let us understand what UX writing is :
After a lot of research I finally came to conclude that UX writing is the art or technique of writing copy for user facing touch points. On the other hand this copy must not only carry the body and structure of the organization but should also prove to be useful and effective for the user himself.

However to become a UX writer you must have a few qualities that qualify you for the title. A few qualities are :

A specialized study in communications :

One cannot call himself an experienced UX writer without having a good study and acquaintance in the background of communications.

Exceptional writing abilities :
Every writer must carry exceptional writing skills and must also have a proof of the same.

Creative and initiative :

A UX writer must also be an instant creative thinker and must take initiatives to improvise his writing.

As a UX writer one must know how to create Web copy that is convincing and good enough for the readers to take action. Presentation is the key to encourage more action because no matter how good and concrete the content if it does not look appealing the readers won't bother. Hence, presentation plays a vital role.

UX writers are not experienced web designers, their content could be pleasing but it is best to leave the selection and designing process to the web designers.

Here are a few techniques that can be followed in order to make the website look on point and also enhance the designing :

1) Select an eye catchy color -

Like we've discussed earlier, presentation is the key to gaining more response from the users. In order to make the presentation attractive the right color must be selected for typography. For instance there's a sale spree going on in a mall and the website content is typed down in yellow, according to me this wouldn't gain much response because the color for the entire content is not pleasing enough. Hence, don't mess with the color!

2) Select the right Font -

On the same sale spree website if a bunch of fonts are used (bold, italic..etc) the entire content seems to look untidy because there's no uniformity.

3) Maintain symmetry -

There are a bunch options that websites, wordstream provide and web designers are aware of. For example, if there are a bunch of bullet points that need to be typed down, this could be done in a more pleasing manner by maintaining symmetry. It could vertical, or horizontal or other tables that are available.

4) Right breakup for paragraphs -

More than 10 lines on a webpage seems bulky and creates an opinion on the reader's mind that there is too much to read. No matter how interesting the content could be, when one witnesses loads of paragraphs on the website he decides to discontinue reading immediately because it gets boring.

UX writing can become effective by following three C's :

Clear-
The content should be short and straight to the point. Bullet points and tables can be used to make a bulky information clear.

Concise -
There should not be empty talk, the content should be concentrated and meaningless.
Consistent -
The content should not provide loop holes it should be constant and laconic. Building a text hierarchy and allowing the users to scan the page content, grabs a lot of response as well.
