7 Peopel Who Are Immortal

There are 7 people in the world who are alive always.These peoples are immortals.They are known as Chiranjivis.The term immortal means to live eternally until the destruction of Universe.The term Chiranjivi is a combination of chiram or permanent and jivi or lived.The Chiranjivis are as follows-
1)Vyasa the sage who composed Mahabharata.He was born towards the end of Tretayuga and was the son of sage Parashara and the grandson of sage Vashishtha.

2)Hanuman served Rama.He stands for selflessness,courage and devotion toward his lord Rama.He is an important character of Ramayana. He is known as the Lord if Celibacy and was an ideal Brahmachari or called Naistika Brahmachari in Sanskrit. Heis known as the God of Strength,knowledge and Bhakti.He is the supreme destroyer of evil and protector of devotees.

3)Parashurama who is the 6 th Avatar of Lord Vishnu and has knowledge about all astras,sastras and divine weapons.The Kalki Purana writes that he will re emerge at the end of the time to be the martial guru of Kalko.he was a Brahmin.

4)Vibhishana , the brother of Ravana,surrendered to Rama before his battle with Ravana.He was crowned king of Lanka after Ravana was killed by Rama.He stands for righteousness.Though he was a RakshasaVibhishana was of a noble character and advised Ravana who kidnapped and abducted Sita to return her husband Rama.He joined Rama’s army.

5)Ashwatthama who is the son of Drona a great warrior.He is the avatar of one og the eleven Rudras.Drona did many years of sebere penanace to please lord Shiva in oder to obtain a son who possessed the same valiance as Lord Shiva.Ashwatthama and Kripa are believed to be the only survivors sill living who fought in the Kurukshetra War.he is given a curse that the can nither communicate withanyone not touch anything with his body covered with painful sores and ulcers that would never cure by Krishna.

6)Bali also called Maha Bali who had a son named Banasur.He was the virtuous emperor of the three worlds and son of Virochana and grandson of Prahalada who were of Asura descent.Lord Vishnu blessed him to be a Chiranjivi.

7)Kripa royal guru of the princes in the Mahabharata.He along with his sister Kripi became an acharya teacher of the royal children giving him the name Kripacharya.His twin sister married Drona.Kripa is considered to be the foremost among the rishis in Kaliyuga.
