The famous 10 step Korean and the ever trending glass skin can really get intimidating. Let’s admit it, there are moments where we purchase a skincare product just because they were overhyped and then realise it was a big disappointment. With so many Asian beauty & skincare brands out there in the market today, choosing the right one can be really frustrating. Besides, most of us don’t even have the luxury to spend a stack of dollars on products that don’t even work.

In this article, I will share with you some of the holy grail Korean products that work wonders and are worth every penny.

1. COSRX One Step Original Clear Pad:

I have sensitive, acne-prone combination skin that becomes an oil fest during the summer. But this product is saving my skin. Literally! After using these cotton pads twice a day, I noticed that I’m not breaking out as much as I used to and my excess oils are a lot more controlled. What’s super great about this product is that it’s a toner and essence soaked in one cotton pad, so you can apply right after cleansing! Be sure to use both sides of the cotton pad to really make your skin clean.

2. Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder:

If you ever struggled with shiny and/or oily skin at any point of the day, this powder does wonders to help you retouch your makeup! This super fine powder helps control excess oil and sebum to leave your face feeling wonderful matte and dry for the rest of the day.

3. The Saem Tip Concealer:

I suffer from a lot of hyperpigmentation and red acne marks that my bare face looks like an art canvas of splotchy red. Lately, I changed my makeup routine to keep it minimum, because more makeup means more clogged pores and more acne. So this is all I use for spot concealing. It has decent buildable coverage, is super lightweight, and doesn’t make me break out which is definitely an added bonus!

4. Peripera Airy Ink Velvet Lip Tint:

Trying to be a minimal queen, I usually do not apply a splash of colour onto my lips. I don't know what is wrong with my lips because nothing seems to stay and I have to reapply the lipstick over and over again. It is super annoying and frustrating. This is where the lip tint comes in. This product not only makes your lips look so good, but it’s long lasting. I like to apply a thin line across my top and bottom lips and press my lips together to distribute the colour. Then after it dries, I would blot again using some tissue to hold the pigmentation in place. You’re going to get so many compliments.

5. The Saem Healing Tea Garden Cleansing Water:

After a long day, the last thing you want to do is spend extra time trying to wash all the makeup away from your face. If you’re somewhat lazy, I’m sure more often than not you’ve reached for makeup wipes to get rid of all that makeup, but that doesn’t do an effective job. But then I found this cleansing water. It’s so gentle and effective than a little bit of this magical water is all I need to erase all traces of the day away! The cleansing water is also infused with green tea which helps your skin feel fresh and clean.

Hope you liked this article and feel free to comment and let me know what worked for you. And also if you have any recommendations for my super oily and acne prone skin, let me know.
