INDIA is the 7^th largest country and is also the 2^nd most populated country. It is the largest country in the Indian subcontinent located in South Asia. India is a very significant and an impressive country. We know that our country is rich in its spices, natural resources, cultures and traditions and many more. Just can’t count them in our fingers. So today, lets know about our country in detail and lets strive to become a great and proud INDIAN..!!!

What is the very first thought that comes to our mind when we discuss about our country.? For me it is the spices. Spices are a rich source of our country. Turmeric powder, chilli powder, Cinnamon, cardamom, and many more are very famous in our country. They get exported to many countries and thereby help our country in receiving foreign exchange. Our country is the 2^nd largest populated country in the world after China with over a billion people. Our country is also very popular and famous for its traditions and cultures. I hope you all know that many foreigners across the world come to our country and follow our own traditions and cultures. Have you ever observed; whenever they visit our country they dress up in saris, chudidars, etc. They also love performing various rituals and traditions of ours. They perform many poojas, visit various temples and places and know the importance of it. so our country’s traditions and cultures are very well known and are loved to be followed by many.

Our country is a country of freedom. It gives due importance to various religions present in our country. There are various religions present such are Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism, Jainism and many more. Each and every religion is respected and each and every citizen has all the rights in following their own religion. Lets understand how great our country is. Our country is also famous for its tourist places. It has the 7 wonders namely, TAJ MAHAL, GREAT WALL OF CHINA, CHRIST THE REDEEMER STATUE, MACHU PICCHU, CHICHEN ITZA, THE ROMAN COLOSSEUM, PATRA. These are the 7 wonders of the world and aim to represent the global heritage. India has many such places to be visited. Citizens of our country speak various languages like, telugu, hindi, marati, tamil, marati, and many more. There are almost 30 languages spoken in our country. How great it is right..?? India is rich in its physical features like the valleys, plains, mountains, and many more. There are almost 20 rivers flowing in our country namely, THE KRISHNA, THE YAMUNA, THE GODAVARI, and many more. India also has the largest no. of employed human resources. Our NATIONAL ANTHEM-not to be forgotten, it a beautiful song ever sung by an Indian. All our physical features, our rivers, our tributaries, all the important features of India are mentioned in the song. One who is unaware of our country, would come to know within seconds with the help of our national anthem.
