Success is measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles he has overcome while trying to succeed.
Those who take more chances and dare to do more than others are bound to experience more failures. But isn’t it better to have the bravery to try something out of the box and then fail than never to have tried it at all? And what’s wrong with losing? Instead, you get an edge over the others and can use the lessons you have learned from your past to rise to a whole new level of awareness and enlightenment. For it’s rightly said, “Life’s greatest setbacks reveal life’s biggest opportunities.”
The quality of your life is shaped by the quality of your decisions and choices. Don’t spend your time doing what is convenient and comfortable. Have the courage to listen to your heart and do the right thing. Remarked by E.M. Gray, “The successful person has the habit of doing the things failures don’t like to do.” Sometimes you have to make yourself do the things you have to do, when it ought to be done, whether you like it or not, for success is achieved through dedication and effort, not hopes and wishful thinking. Use your life lessons to fuel your future growth. Stop focusing on everything and start guiding your days by a rich and inspiring vision for your future, a clearer image of an end result that will help you act more intentionally.
Do not pressurize yourself for something that can be achieved without it. Stress itself isn’t a bad thing at all. It rather encourages you to expand beyond your limits and achieve things that would otherwise have been a real deal for you to handle. Get yourself the confidence and boundless courage by simply believing in you and trusting the process thereafter. Don’t let yourself lose the ability to laugh, love and be joyful because of the challenges you face, for change is the only constant and the sooner you realize, the better. Quitting should never be in your dictionary. You would not have the wisdom and knowledge you now possess, if there hadn’t been the setbacks you have faced, the mistakes you have made and the sufferings you have endured.
Pain is a teacher and failure is the highway to success.
Transform your stumbling blocks into stepping stones and vow to turn your wounds into wisdom. On the other side of fear, lies freedom and to live your life to the fullest, start taking more risks and doing the things you fear. Get good at being uncomfortable and stop walking the path of least resistance. Fill yourself with enthusiasm and know your priorities.
In the words of Robin Sharma,
How high you will rise in your life will be determined not by how hard you work but how well you think.
