Feminism & Beyond.

When I googled last night about the topic, which is apparently 'Feminism', I found myself in a dilemma. Google said, "Feminism is a range of political movements, ideologies, and social movements that share a common goal: to define, establish, and achieve political, economic, personal, and social equality of sexes."

So Google was saying Feminism means gender equality in every possible way. How can Google be wrong?.. I mean, that is not the correct meaning of Feminism right? All the things we have known about Feminism on the social media and every other platform in the recent times is, feminism is the key to put down the men and to strive upon them. Internet has taught me Feminism is when feminine are hating men. Feminism is taking advantages of being a woman in every way possible. And feminism is equality between men and women except when women are getting some extra privilege. Nah?

Were all of these wrong?
Google must be kidding right?

Or is it us, who got confused between Feminists and Feminazis?
A feminazi is a sexist. Who demands all the privileges of being a woman. Well, that kind of eliminates and destroys the meaning of Feminism all in itself. Because my dear friend, Feminsm is not limited to just one gender asking for some special privilege. Feminism is everyone should have equal rights and opportunity regardless of gender. Or just say it is the fight for gender equality through the empowerment of women.

With that said, let's clear out the common misconceptions we have for Feminsm.

1) Not all the Feminists are feminine. Whoever has an ideology of gender equality by women empowerment is a feminist. Empowerment to reach upto the level of men, in a men dominated world, not to put them down.

2) Feminists don't hate men. Well, Feminazis do.

3) Feminists are unbiased.

4) Feminsm is not a political movement, it is a social movement in a larger scale. Which shall get us moving in the best path possible.

5) Feminism doesn't mean supporting every feminine. It means equality and justice. And both shall be served to a human being. Human being, I repeat.

And with that said, I hope equality for every human being can be the best definition of feminism right now. What say?
