.
I woke up to see there was none around me, all green waters as far my eyes could see.
No sign of people seemed to exist anymore, and I made my mind to sail until I meet my shore.
It was then there appeared an isle green, with trees and birds and the sea on its heels.
In front of me was there a glitter of waves, and away on the isle were some unexplored caves.
I paused my boat and took a stand, and eagerly watched for a helping hand.
There came none as I made through my way, for hours all I did was to wander astray.
When Luma peeped, I laid on the shores. The sounds of the waves made me snore.
I kissed upon the golden sands, I loitered on till Phoebus sang.
When dawn came, the birds sang with glee, flying all around the isle above the shining sea.
Surrounded by flowers, all pink, yellow and red, flowed a river, not blue, but red instead.
Trees tops covered with a reddish glow, a mesmerizing sight they held bestow.
Through the dawn I felt the morning dew, Glistening through the fields of hue.
I walked to the caves, all big and bold, as the fresh grass aided my stumbling toes.
The caves held creatures strange and queer, crawling on the ground or floating through the air.
Strange were the some really close to me, on the golden sands they walked with me.
What was this place that I had reached? With nature and beauty all around me.
With clear streams that turned around, with flowers decorating the golden ground.
Sparkling, glistening, in the moon, the sands and the trees, all were a boon.
So smoothly did the water streams curled, smiling at me and my fellow world.
There was a swishing sound my ears perceived, of the sound of a cold and graceful breeze.
The stones, the leaves, all shimmered before my eyes. Delighting me like they all were mine.
I danced in the rains all full of glee, greeted by the rising tides in the sea.
The night brought in the might gales, while the sands now burnt with bluish flames,
A surprise I got as the mountains snowed, Filled with pride with clouds at their brows.
I laid down then on the grassy fields, with clouds acting as my covering shields.
I opened my eyes, and suddenly, All was gone. What I woke up to was different dawn.
My eyes shed tears for the land I had been. The realm of beauty, none had seen.
The realm away from the world of pain. Alas! I’ll never wake up in that place again.
I wish I may sleep again, Oh Lord ! and in my dreams, have that world restored.
