Figures Of Speech-(Hyperbole)

Today we are going to be talking about Hyperboles pronounced (Hy-per-bow-lees). A hyperbole is also known as an exaggeration. A hyperbole is when you say something that is true, but in an extra way. E.g ‘‘It’s so hot today I can fry an egg on the sidewalk.’’ OR ‘‘I’m so tired I can sleep a year.’’ When using a hyperbole you should tend to overstate a situation. Hope you enjoyed it.
