The start of our day determines how the rest of it would go. And there's no better way than starting it early with a cup of chai in hand. Here's a few things you should try to incorporate in your day:

1) Get up early and Exercise.
Waking up and witnessing the sunrise is the most beautiful thing in the world. Not everyone gets to do it. Now, that you have woken up and have time before you have to rush off for work or school, try to get a 15 to 30 minutes exercise routine in.

2) Drink water.

Upto 60% of our body is made up of water. We often tend to forget about drinking water. It’s great for the skin, good for blood pressure and also reduces weight. So start drinking up.

3) Eat healthy.

No one can eat healthy all the time. But one healthy meal a day can be managed. Not only that, make sure your meal is balanced with equal amounts of carbohydrates, protein, minerals and nutrients. Eating meals on time would go a long way too.

4) Spend time with family.

The most important people in our life often get ignored as we grow older. Take some time out of your busy schedule and spend it with your family. Maybe help your mother in the kitchen and go to walks with your father in the park. Help your siblings with their homework or go watch a movie with them.

5) Meditate.
Inner peace of mind is equally important. Throughout the day, our mind works at a very fast pace and it tires us out. Giving your brain rest is very important. So, take a few minutes after you come home and meditate. You could play some soothing music or sounds if you like.

6) Pep-Talk.

Before you drift off to sleep, make sure you give yourself a pep-talk. Talk with yourselves about how your day went, what all did you achieve, what made you happy etc. Then plan ahead for the next day. And I’ll give you a tip. Do this when you’re alone or people might think you have gone bonkers.

7) Sleep like a baby.
The world we live in, is evolving at a fast pace and so are we. Technology keeps us up most of the time. But a good night's sleep is very important for our body to function properly. Eight hours is enough time for us to rejuvenate and start our day with a positive energy.
