8 Pawsitive Facts About Your Dog

Are you a dog lover too? How many times have you asked your parents for a dog, and they've declined your request? I'll tell you. Mine have declined like a thousand times.

So what do I do about it you ask. I just go through alot of dog photos and wish they were all mine.
Here's few dog related facts to make your day even happier :)

1) Your dog dream's, just like you.
It's a shocker right!? A study done by Psychology Today shows that your dog maybe dreaming about playing outside or chasing their tails. Silly.

2) As intelligent as a two year old.

Studies show that dogs can understand upto 150 words and trick people into giving them treats. If you have a child, you might want to stage a competition between the two, just for fun.

3) The corn-y feet.

After a long day of running around and playing, you might notice that your dog has sweaty paws. And that's the only gland their paws possess. Also their feet may smell like corn chips or popcorn. This is called "Frito Feet", which happens due to all the sweat.

4) The jealousy bone.
It's not just us humans that get jealous. Even dogs tend to do the same. They can smell if you've been near another dog or not. And if you have, well,then you're in for a whole day of them barking at you.

5) Unique noseprint.

We humans have unique fingerprints. That comes in handy many a times. But dogs here, have unique noses. So unique, that it can be used to identify them. Getting their noseprint is the most difficult of tasks. Try it with your dog and let me know!

6) Even rarer than a panda.
Mind boggling right!? The Dandie Dinmont Terrier is now considered even rare than a giant panda. Queen Victoria possessed one of these. Are you one of the owner too?

7) Cup-like tongue.
On one hand while we have to use actual cups to drink water, dogs have it easy. They form the back of their tongues into a mini cup and drink with it’s help. How cool is that!!

8) Getting a date.
