You might think, how can I come to God? I am a sinner and unworthy in others’ opinion. You might say "I've been too bad". Remember those Great Heroes in the Bible - Moses, King David, and Saint Paul? Guess what they all had in common.
Were they always good? No.
Were they always courageous? No.
But God transformed them when they repented their sins and accepted God.
When God can transform these sinners into someone through whom he accomplishes His mission.
If He can take Moses and turn him into a significant leader,
if He can take David and turn him into a great king,
if He can turn Saul to Paul and turn him into a great preacher.
What might He do with you?
When we invite God into our lives, He will transform us. God has a plan and purpose in your life, my friend. You will see God work in you and you will be a blessing to others.
It will be so amazing to see God work in us. We are His clay and He is the potter, when we surrender ourselves into the potter's hands He will shape and mould us into a beautiful masterpiece. We're broken, dirty, shapeless, useless but when we are in God's hands when we surrender to Him, He will shape us and mould us.
Romans 12:2 New Living Translation
2 Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
