Face masks are loved these days. But we need to shell a good amount of money from our pockets to get them.
Let me tell you an easy way to get it done at home with an affordable and very less price. Most of the ingredients that go in there are easily available at home with nominal price.
The honey and papaya face mask-
White rice paste- 3 tablespoons
Papaya - 2-inch cube mashed
Honey- 1 tablespoon
Water - as per the consistency
Glycerine- 1/4 tablespoon ( if available)
Combine all the ingredients together into a smooth paste. You can whisk it together in a mixer-grinder.
Add required water to have a slightly runny consistency.
Clean and scrub your face nicely and apply a thick first layer on the face and neck.
Let it dry for 10 minutes. Apply a second coat on the face and let it sit for 10 more minutes.
Repeat one more coat as above for a total time of 30 minutes.
Gently remove the mask with water and dab with a towel to dry the face.
Apply a coat of thick face moisturizer on your face and leave till it gets absorbed.
Repeat every month and you will find your skin more supple with each application.
Also, the dead skin formation will reduce and give skin a chance to breathe and glow.
You can mix some drops of rose water in your mask to give it a nice smell or aroma.
Ensure that the papaya is fully ripe and mushy.
Rice paste should be smooth and should not have any grainy texture.
Moisturizing face after applying mask is a necessary step and should be done with a good moisturiser especially for dry skin.
You can apply ice on your face if the mask feels too tight or dry in the last layer of an application.
The most important advantage of this mask is that rice powder has an anti-ageing effect on skin and naturally reduce wrinkles.
