The Concept Of God

God is called as Omnipotent, Omniscient and Benevolent. If God exits, human would have hope of eternal life. Why God didn't stop innocent people dying in natural disasters? Why would a benevolent or all good God make man with disabilities? Why didn't God stopped World Wars and Homicide? Christianity claims there is only one God and Islam claims there is only one God. But which religion should we believe? If there is only one God, then how did many God's exits? People are not living in present, rather they are thinking about what is there position after death. If you are spending money for charity just in order to seek favor, then you are not true to yourself. If you are deliberately committing sin and then depending on God is foolish. If all benevolent God does not punish the criminals, then good can not exist. If something is mysterious, then it is yet to be discovered. What if Newton thought apple falling from tree is just because of God's mysterious creation? He would have not discovered Earth's Gravitation. In ancient times people believed Sun, Moon, Water, Tree as God. They have discovered nature has some power which will help human to survive. But in course of time science have given reason for nature being a tool to survive. Galileo has discovered Earth revolves around the sun and Sun does not revolve around the Earth. People have strongly disagreed with him and that even lead to his death. This shows that people have just believed Earth as Goddess and they could not digest the fact the Earth is revolving around the Sun. Today we are able to travel to Moon, what if humans thought God only can make miracles. In Hinduism, the Dalits are not even considered as humans in Varna System. Varna system had given privilege to higher caste people to rule and has deprived the Dalits from education, equality and liberty. Slavery is even considered as common in Greece times. Religion has helped the Landlords, Capitalists, Feudal Lords. It favoured politically to the ruling class. People in India have deprived based on Varna System. Varna System does not allow a Sudra's to gain power. And even a intellectual Sudras can not gain power. They have to remain in their same state. The Tribes in India didn't believe Hindu god and they were not even allowed to enter temple in past and they are included in to Hinduism. This gave high power to the Upper Caste Bramhin.

I personally feel in today's world we need to promote technology and new innovations, rather just not considering God as umbrella term for existance of mysterious things.
