What is the definition of gazing? Well, it means looking steadily and constantly in surprise or admiration. Different words of gazing my favorite synonymous are in Hindi which is “ghoorna” it gives the feel, right?

To be honest, everyone has their own definition of gazing. I asked a few people some said me it means you love someone (basically they are hinting love at first sight) some said it’s cheap and defines the character of the person. One got angry at how someone can’t mind their own business and stare like CCTV. I accepted all their point of view or perspective. One might stare you with a smile through eyes, one might stare you with greed in their eyes and rest are staring at you to just observe you or learn something from you. Do you become conscious when a guy/girl gawk you? Or you feel happy that at least someone is interested in you? Well at some cases they are not looking at you but what you are wearing (girls especially) and whom with you are hanging out with (boys especially).

You gaze or stare when you feel you wanted to know more about the person but you can know the person by talking then why to stare and make someone conscious from distance? It’s the first stage of knowing someone because that helps you to know to what to talk with that person or to know how this person is so active and cheerful or to know why this person is so sad or how I can impress. You not only gaze when you are interested but also when you are jealous and wanted something that will benefit you.

Is gazing good? I can’t totally say whether it’s good or not but you must gaze. you know why I am saying this? because if you didn’t stare at your parent's behavior when you were toddler you wouldn’t have learned how to speak, walk or react and even how to eat. Yes, staring comes by nature. When you entered this world you started staring to know where you are, to know who is your mother and to understand your surrounding environment. If you didn’t stare to your teacher or your book you might not learn or understand the subject in depth. In fact, we students (through the help of our parents) pay a hell lot of money just to go and stare in every coaching institute. Every sports person (athlete ) always have to stare to fix their aim and goal. Whether it’s an indoor game like chess or an outdoor game like archery. Staring is important part at every beginning of any game.

One question arises is what about blind people? They don’t stare so how they make their life so smooth and steady? Staring is nothing but focusing and observing we focus through our eyes and blind people focus through the sense of touch.

With the help of our senses nowadays it’s easy to know who is staring at you with good intentions and bad intention too. To some, you reply with a smile and some you reply with anger or questions on your face.

So next time when you stare make share you make it effective and have benefits. Stare freely because that’s the only thing and the very first thing we learned since we were an infant. Stare to learn, stare to understand and observe. Remember you are not gazing but focusing to find your comfort and your aim. Make sure you stare with good intention and not to make someone feel uncomfortable or bad about you. Always gaze, never gawk.
